    Rent and bankruptcy--} Help

    Morning...

I recently filled for bankruptcy and yesterday found out that my hours at my job will be cut which will put me in a bind. My rent is due by the 15th of the month and I will not be able to cover it. I did not originally list my leasing company on my creditors list but I am debating if I SHOULD. I am concerned if I do that I might be evicted (If that is possible). What should/ would you guys do???
    Here goes nothing..
    Filling again... 11/8/10

If you intend to break your lease, you need to amend your filing to include the lease.

You'll have to include the lease deficiency, however, that debt is post-petition. Your attorney can try to include them in there, but technically, if your landlord wanted to be hard-nosed about it, he could object to it.
I do not provide legal advice. All I do here is give my two cents as an opinion and at least share some of the facts that I know. Attorneys can provide legal advice, so go ask them or hire one.
